Big Things on the way...

On our way to Townsville we had to do a few 'big things'

Bowen is the town of murals with heaps and heaps of murals, on signs on buildings, everywhere. I got sick of photographing them by about 10 murals in...

 We dropped into Bowen, a town that obviously has a great sense of humour...the first hotel we saw was called...The Bowen Arrow...hahahahha...we thought that was great..then off in the hills is a big BOWENWOOD sign...they are still on a massive high from Australia being filmed there and we had to check out the famous pie shop that Hugh Jackman got his pies during filming from...it was called...The Hugh Jackman, Hunky Beef Pie...not chunky..hunky....ah I love Bowen...

the big mango was having a new paint job when we arrived, must be just ripening up :-)
